Craig,
I am tempted to argue that "is" means equal and that (evolution=change) =
(change=evolution) and that your analysis of A1 through B4 is invalid but
that would push a point not worth pushing.
Instead let's go back to:
[Case]
> Evolution is about change. When change stops everything stops.
1) Evolution is about change.
2) When change stops everything stops.
3) Everything hasn't stopped.
4) :. Evolution hasn't stopped.
Evolution as a theory describes and makes predictions about change over long
periods of time. As long as time moves on and change occurs the theory
stands and describes the process.
Are you suggesting that since my syllogisms are weak that evolution has
stopped or merely pointing out the flaws in my oversimplification?

A1) All evolution is change.
A2) When change stops everything stops.
A3) Everything hasn't stopped.
A4) :. Evolution hasn't stopped.
B1) All change is evolution.
B2) When change stops everything stops.
B3) Everything hasn't stopped.
B4) :. Evolution hasn't stopped.
A1)-A4) is invalid. B1)-B4) is valid; unfortunately, B1) is false.
