In short, not every individual contributes, so drawing from accumulation of
knowledge becomes mute. Most individuals in fact contribute nothing new, but
are caretakers of the status quo. As for knowing the name of the brujo, it's
irrelevant to the brujo's unique contribution to preserving the Zuni culture,
at least for a time.
