In the evolution of life towards betterness that's exactly what I'm saying, just
as in the degeneration of life only certain individuals count.
Nor do I take my knowledge of life and living from "feel good" movies.

In that case, his creative contribution didn't last. Not all do, not even 
those of your science friends although many of their individual contributions
have been great. The artist who drew the paintings on the wall of the cave
at Lascaux -- now there's a lasting creation!
