Where do you think the NY phil gets it's talent from. Do you think they
are all Yankee born?
No you won't have to endure the local high school. But how about a
philharmonic that is a little closer to you. Seattle, Denver, Atlanta,
Philadelphia. That's my point
I am amazed when a national football or baseball team from a lesser known
state wins the national championship. Sometimes I get the feeling that
people are saying " how dare they beat the Yankees". Or when a lesser
known actor does well, eyebrows are raised in wonder. Or why we act
surprised when few patronize a local coffee shop then say, hey this is as
good as starbucks. That's the piss poor attitude that kills me.
