grow up on their own free will.
The question is at what age do you let go and let the individual make
their own choices.
Platt, we both want the same thing. Freedom to make a choice is
paramount.
BUT
As a parent you will not let a 5 year old feast on sugar-bomb cereal all
day long because it's bad for them.
If they get out of line, a little discipline is a good thing.
Then in their early teens ( while living at home) you try to tell them
that idolizing Brittany and Paris is not a good thing. You are guiding
them because they are still growing.
Some people take longer to grow, mature and appreciate the good things
in life. Some never mature or grow up.
So when and where does FREE market begin, and "eat your vegetables
because they are good for you" stop.
How do you let society know that a little classical music once in a
while is a good thing. I like a wide variety of music, but never cared
for opera. Someone else may say, hip-hop is my cup of tea, take your
classical and go away.
