Aside from this, it masks a sad fact. Our water supply is becoming 
more and more polluted. And we are content to pay $1 for water 
shipped from far away rather than do what it takes to clean up our 
own local water supplies.

This water supply here is still palatable. But I do occasionally buy water
especially at movie theaters because it is generally the only thing
available that is not super sweetened, carbonated or alcoholic. But it is
still more than a little absurd.
