Having lived through that era I don't recall a big to do about Agent Orange
being related to DDT. I think that's most from the Wikipedia writer's imagination.
The main reason for the ban was the publicity surrounding the book by Rachel
Carson, pumped to a fare-the-well by Greenpeace and other liberal environmental
wackos using typical scare tactics that the press loves so much to ballyhoo.

Two laws I favor and you describe it as "all kinds of laws." Methinks you
exaggerate.

Wild exaggeration. I want motorcycles to obey the same laws as
automobiles, and I don't want people forced to wear masks. I also favor
laws against public nudity although you are all in favor of walking down
the street buck naked, or so you say (speaking of hypocrites). As for
conservative presidents, there hasn't been one since Calvin Coolidge. Reagan
came close, but failed to veto big spending bills or balance the budget.
