In "Wag the Dog" a war was started to distract the people from
domestic problems. Nowdays we create domestic problems (Plamegate,
attorney firings, etc.) to distract people from the war.

Are you suggesting Bush is manufacturing domestic crises to distract
people away from the reality of the war? Its an interesting thought
I'd largely agree with. However, the corruption of the House of Bush
that is coming to light would be rather idiotic to be internally
manufactured (of course, given the regime...).
Or are you suggesting the media is attempting to distract people from
the war, and if so how does that play into the modern paranoia about
how the "leftist media" uses the war to attack Bush's credibility.
Why divert attention away from this? Are you saying that all the
corruption that is coming to light is simply part of a "leftist conspiracy"?
Actually, I'm more concerned with the manufactured international
problems that will be used as propaganda for more war, since "war" is
really the only way the House of Bush defines itself and "patriotism".
