This seems the reverse of the MOQ view; it would give priority to the biological level over the social or intellectual level.
What if the town's best librarian is the only person who can provide the needed constant replenishing of the Cadillac dealer's blood supply? That the librarian is enslaved by the car dealer doesn't seem a good intellectual pattern.

I have no problem with your money going for others' food & shelter, either. The problem comes when you try to force this view on others.
