[MD] Down the road of mediocrity

Arlo had a "sober" period a while ago, but now he's at it again.

While I am sure you believe everyone appreciates your perennial rehashed
argumentations for your pet idea, Bo, I resent the Holier Than Thou attitude.
There are many threads on MD that I have no interest in, and you know what I
do... I ignore them. Or here's an even better "idea" for you, Bo (and anyone
else)... there's a little thing called an "email filter". If my posts bother
you, go ahead a set your filter to junk everything posted by me. God knows I am
tempted to do it every time you write one of your insipid posts condemning
"Muslims" and lamenting how they will bring on the fall of Western
Civilization. Believe me, there are people on this list whose posts bore me to
tears. But do I make arrogant little comments to the list? No. I became totally
disinterested with the "Quantum Weirdness" thread a while ago, but do I bitch
and moan when 8 or 10 new posts hit my inbox? No. Because I don't find it
difficult to skip over threads that are of no interest to me. Nor do I have
trouble using an email filter. So here's a final bit of advice. Next time
you're patting yourself on the back for posting a thought you think everyone
wants to hear, think again. And be happy that others aren't as condescendingly
arrogant and full of themselves and the value of their contributions.
