Since this is your interpretation of recent British history without citing
references I took it with a grain of salt, especially since the Labour 
government which has been in power since 1997 as, according to Wikipedia,
adopted many of Thatcher's policies since its failures in subsequent elections.

You call waiting in line for 4 months to get a necessary operation "quality"
health care?
