A society is its citizens. These statements are redundant.

1) It is moral for society to oppose murder.
2) If it is moral for society to oppose murder, then it is moral for it to force
its citizens not to murder.

Actually this is just a tautology.

Or.

I support the army; giving to the armed services is moral; but forcing me to
give to the armed services is not.
