[MD] On Death and Dying

Hi All,

I have been away fighting with my wife's ovarian cancer. I lost, she is 
gone. IMO a metaphysics is formed in the proprietary awareness of the 
individual. The event of death is very important. I can't say that she is 
gone, since a couple of nights ago I dreamt of her with a hairdo I had never 
seen before on her, and of which I did not approve.

There is an honesty about dying. I do not recommend that everyone try to be 
in the presence of a dying person at one time or another. Tuesday's With 
Mory. However, metaphysically speaking, 'I am empty' is acknowledged by a 
dying person. In Louise's case this manifested in an unwillingness to pass 
on until all the circumstances of her environment were to her specified 
wants. When we complied she passed in 18 minutes after hanging on for 3 
weeks.
