Hi MarshaV and all,

Little boys are frogs and snails, and puppy dog tails? When I talked to 
Louise about gender issues she always objected to the terms 'female-male', I 
got in the habit of using Man-Woman. At the organic level, reproduction 
seems to be dynamic. Our language is full of different terms for individuals 
involved.

On the inorganic level when I was throwing stones I kept a hammer handy so I 
wouldn't run out, or if the stone was too big to throw very far. Collision 
is king.

IMO According to Pirsig evolution from a low to a higher level is the basis 
for a morality of existence. The lower level must exist in the higher level. 
If the higher level is destroyed evolution stops. If the next lower level is 
destroyed, evolution stops.

Inorganic level reproduction by collision evolves to: collision inside 
Mitosis, collision form outside Meiosis. Stamen-pistol, bull-cow, sow-boar, 
stallion-mare, prick-cunt, birds-bees, doe-stag, hen-rooster, dog-bitch, 
egg-sperm, girl-boy, etc. Our language provides for three lower levels 
evolving into the social, proprietary awareness, individual, conscious 
level, etc., which evolves to the law, intellectual, political, king, 
president, guru, imam, god, supreme being etc., level.

According to esoteric thought, the octave based on auditory sounds, is the 
model for a hierarchical order. In this scheme there are two further steps 
in an evolution of consciousness a higher emotional, and a higher 
intellectual order exemplified in the history of enlightened individuals, 
e.g. mystics, philosophers, prophets, artists, etc., not mechanical types. 
You can know them when you see then. You know the light bulb above your 
head.
