Craig,

It that really what the cats told you? Did they tell you they were looking
at a reflection or do they think they are looking at themselves and you? I
would be very interested in what they think, and not what you think for
them.

I've been holding my 2 female cats up to the mirror to see if they show any
signs of self-recognition.  One seems either uninterested or uncomfortable.
The other is sometimes interested in looking at herself, at other times
looks at me in the mirror.  Similar results if I hold them both up together.
