I was highlighting that since your cats can't tell you anything, let alone
think, you would see that you were describing what you thought they were
thinking, essentially "thinking" for them.

I'm surprised you ask what my cats told me.  I would have thought that your
position is that cats can't tell me anything.  You have raised the
interesting question: are my cats looking at a reflection or themselves
(and/or me)?  In any event I do not "think for them".
