The first question is the second question. When
the residents have consistency and thus, stability
they do much better. They do better with somebody
around that provides safety and guidelines. Do they
still give trouble? yes, at times... but now we've
veered into the particulars, such as, this resident
who wants to cut herself and sticks staples in her
arms and under her finger nails. Her mother is in
prison for murder. Her brother is in prison for
murder. Two other brothers of hers were murdered.
She's in placement. How much can a person take,
especially when even our effort is to have a clear
mind or experience goodness, and yes, that takes
effort for us. Imagine her effort... it's sad.
