Hi Marsha,

I was quite ill this weekend with a fever of some kind. At times I got out
of bed and moved around the house but it was like I was awake and asleep at
the same time. I stood at the top of the stairs and for a moment it was like
I was watching TV and I was not really part of the situation - I just
thought 'just put one foot in front of the other carefully'. It's an another
experience that helps convince me that the mind is a function of the body.

I suggest you find a teacher of the Alexander Technique; try
http://www.alexandertech.org/ with this link you should find the nearest
teacher in your area. I really think that what you may find with this will
be surprising. There will be no dogma but, instead, a new way of thinking
and being in the moment.

Regards

-Peter
