like i said before (maybe too freeform?)....
intelligence comes before the social; intellect comes after.
intelligence comes before everything. the mythos is intelligence. the
mythos creates everything - the world is created by the mythos. this is
a key point. it is necessary not only to understand pirsig but also,
crucially, it allows us to grasp indigenous metaphysics. by reconnecting
to our pagan origins we are reconnected to the earth and all life on it.
we see, we feel (which means we know) our identity with it all. unity.
the end of alienation.
shamans work with and through the mythos. they put themselves in accord
with divine intelligence and become a vehicle for it.
