I don't discern any intellectual patterns in the biological kingdom, but
as 
Bo reminded us recently, intellectual patterns rebelled from their
servant 
role in human society to provide food, shelter and clothing and took off
on 
purposes of their own. Today it dominates social patterns and fights off

demands for compliance. 

Ron:
Biological covers a lot of bases. Do you mean organic? SA and I had a 
Conversation about how we as humans cover the all the levels
Inorganic, organic, social and intellectual. We encompass all at once
As biological creatures.From the iron in our blood to the thoughts in
our head.

In my mind the value of the intellectual level is S/O conceptual
linearity 
measured by coherence. The higher level from which we see the value of
the 
intellectual level is characterized by the value of spontaneous
luminosity 
measured by intensity of the light.
