This was excellent. Very thought provoking and
interesting. Some comments as follows:

I believe you mention that social patterns can
still be driven by intellectual patterns, but
sometimes intellectual patterns are emphasized on
intellectual patterns and sometimes intellectual
patterns emphasize social patterns. What I like here
is 'emphasis'. I see a relationship between
intellectual and social patterns that can't be broken.
It depends on the emphasis of the intellect, whether
it be socially driven or intellectually driven in its'
intention makes a difference. This kind of perception
would get away from categorizing some 'thoughts' are
social and some are intellectual. Intellect is always
involved when it comes to human beings, but it is the
emphasis of the intellect whether this intellect be on
social patterns or intellectual patterns that
identifies extant dominance of one level or the other
level.
Also you mention, "These ideologies might have
started off from intellectual quality, but soon
solidified into dogmatic rules – astounding in their
incredible propensity towards mayhem, tyranny and
plain apathy..." Exactly! Intellectual patterns
don't need to stay intellectual and social patterns
may emerge into intellectual patterns. There will be
a difference. I would say that what you mention here,
in which I quoted, is a society that is emphasizing
social order. The intellect is still involved, but
these principles or reasonings of the intellect, using
your quote as an example, became dogmatic and socially
dominated. The intellect is emphasizing social order,
and thus forgot its' roots (intellectual patterns).
This is why I see intellectual patterns working well
in democratic or any free-thinking society. This is
also how I see intellectual patterns embedded with
dynamic quality keeps intellectual patterns from
solidifying into dogmatic social orders.
Lastly, I would like to point out what you said
here as well, "Perhaps this is the nature of evolution
– when a particular system or static position does not
work any more on the ratchet of evolution, Dynamic
Quality affects in unpredictable ways forcing changes.
Perhaps it was to be in India's evolutionary destiny –
and that's why traditional Indic culture took a
relative backseat." Again, this is a good point, and
if a culture can allow for rejuvenation and have the
ability to be creative and dynamic, then static
patterns will not have to be changed too
destructively.

thanks.
