[MD] Chan and qi/eastern intellect

Dear Marsha, Ian, Bo,

I write from experience. While not an exponent by any definition of
the word, I have been a serious practitioner of Taoist Tai Chi Chuan
and Yoga for a few years now. The concepts of Tao-te-ching and
Vedanta seem easy enough to intellectually grasp...and based on our
proclivity towards the Mind/Body divide, even seem ridiculous to some.

But the real import of the reality is in the experience of it. I have
probably seen just the tip of the tip of the iceberg. But that is
enough to dispel any misnomers I have had about what they are maps
towards (just like someone very eloquently described MoQ to be).

Unless two people have travelled the same experiential path, it is
very difficult to understand each other or what is being described
wrt Esoteric traditions. There is no common frame of reference (no
amount of intellectual effort will be able to bridge that gap imho).

Warm Regards,

Dwai
