I do not believe RMP rejects a source.  Read:

While sustaining biological and social patterns
Kill all intellectual patterns.
Kill them completely
And then follow Dynamic Quality
And morality will be served.
               (Pirsig, LILA, Chapter 32)

It's that he leaves QUALITY/Dynamic Quality indivisible, undefinable 
and unknowable.  That is not a rejection.
