Others have another interpretation of the famous Latin phrase:

descartes' "i think therefore i am" quite misses the mark. "i think, but i'm
not my thoughts" comes closer.

Awareness of That Which Watches Thoughts is more to the heart of Buddhism.



Some intellectual's delusions, somehow, don't allow themselves to separate
from their thoughts.



Re-imagine a tradition wherein one does not die, almost cannot die.  I think
it puts another perspective on another delusion.  The delusion of time.



Buddhism encourage one to re-think whatever one considers "reality" to be.
