Hi Craig

Dinosaurs are carbon based life like us, but can't
see them thinking about an earth, its history, its ability
to contain fossils, etc, that takes culture. Yes, we
can contemplate an 'earth' that exists for us now with a
history, but dinosaurs were largely interested in dinner
and their next big dino bonk, they would not have
conceived of or experience any 'earth'. 'Earth' is a complex
concept, and needs more than an exerience of jumping up and down on
something flat (you know where those flat thoughts led?)
