Yup. Ain't life a hoot!!!
[Arlo]
At times. And sometimes moreso than others. :-)
By the way, rethinking my previous words... "Here we move from
illusion to real back to illusion. Or maybe from
illusion-based-in-ignorance to real-based-in-knowledge to
illusion-based-in-philosophy.", I realize I should have likely put
the words real and illusion in quotes. And given this example.
Child: I am real, you are an illusion. [Soliptic thinking]
Adult: We are both real. [S/O thinking]
Zen Adult: We are both illusions. [Buddhist thinking]
Thrown like a star in my vast sleep
I open my eyes to take a peep
To find that I was by the sea
Gazing with tranquillity.
'Twas then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man
Came singing songs of love,
Then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man
Came singing songs of love.
Histories of ages past
Unenlightened shadows cast
Down through all eternity
The crying of humanity.
'Tis then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man
Comes singing songs of love,
Then when the Hurdy Gurdy Man
Comes singing songs of love.
-- Hurdy Gurdy Man (Donovan)
