I appreciate the sentiment too, but the garb of experimental analysis is only there to trick the hard of thinking. I ask myself why the hard sell? And then realise thats just what it is.

This feels like "cold reading", why does he think he can tell anything
about someone from their movements? Just as likely to find all sorts of
counterintuitive linkages if you went at it witha bit of rigour. 
are the methods explained somewhere in a peer reviewed journal that we
can double check?
