Forgive me if my cynicism sounded like self-elevation. I am as guilty 
as everyone else. You'll also have to forgive me that in the interest 
of comedy and over-brevity, I've glossed over the fact that there are 
good people out there doing good work trying their damnedest to make 
a difference.
