So I should have been a free-loader and not attempted to earn income, instead
let others be forced to provide for my needs? No matter how you slice it,
government takes away freedom and property at the point of a gun.

The total debt is meaningless unless related to the nation's ability to pay --
an economic lesson that continues to escape you.
