Property taxes.

Income taxes.

Now you're talking. Become a moocher and live off other's work. Of course,
I would lose all self-respect. But what the hell?

Choices against biological forces are extremely limited. That's why
societies were set up in the first place, to overcome those forces. Still
haven't figured how to cheat death, but maybe in the future . . .

Obviously you haven't read about people who refuse to pay taxes and
barricade themselves in their homes against the imposition of the law. Nor
have you heard of people thrown in jail for evasion of income tax.

I'll grant you both points. Except to reduce both taxes and spending makes
the most economic sense.
