[Platt]
Whenever I have a question I turn to intelligent people regardless of their
specialty. In fact, specialists are often blind to their own shortcomings
and hunker down to defend their territory. I'm sure your familiar with
Pirsig's "immune systems."

[Krimel]
Yes I am familiar with Pirsig's "immune systems" Intelligent design is a
classic example of a religious immune reaction against the threat of
science.

Are you seriously saying that experts can't be trusted because they are
experts so we should go out and seek answers from people who have no idea
what they are talking about? I think I am at last starting to understand how
you think.
