Hardly, if that was the sole goal, nobody would mind providing those goods for
free. You're trying to rephrase it in such noble words, but the ultimate goal of
providing those goods and services is to charge money for them.

I would actually not say it's required. I bet there are quite a number of people
living completely alone in the wilderness all over the globe. They don't die
just because they're separated from society, they can still think intellectual
thoughts, etc.
