Ron,

I didn't clearly understand your criticism.  I had no way of 
understanding you were distinguishing between actions and words.

But I still contend that to thoughtfully act with compassion is of 
higher value than to act blindly compassionate.  Both are better than 
poking someone in the eye with a sharp stick.
