Steve:
"Value realizes the agent" does not mean that value becomes aware of
the agent. I assume what Craig means by "realizes" is that value makes
the agent real. The agent is manifested by value. In other words, what
we think of as the immutable self may be better thought of as a pattern
of preferences. You are what you like.
