I have a "mixed" relationship with Gladwell; his skill seems to be
reworking material already published by others, into best-sellers. I
guess I'm just envious ;-) But this looks like interesting content
again.

Gladwell is a journalist. That's what journalists do. But he is good at it.
So good in fact that he was the keynote speaker at this year's meeting of
American Psychological Association. The president of the organization in his
introduction said that Gladwell describes himself as a "parasite on
psychology".
