[MD] The SOM/MOQ discrepancy.

It is my experience, whether successful or not, I really want to 
follow the Good.  Do I need some other clump of patterns to tell me 
what that good might be?  - It is helpful, though, to unravel the 
mystery.   And I am grateful for all the help.
