Scholarsgenerally date the synoptic gospels as having been written after the epistles of Paul and before the gospel according to John, thus between 60 and 115 AD. Paul is regarded as having not met Jesus or witnessing Jesus's
 crucifixion, his conversion took place as he was traveling the road to Damascus in a vision.

the witnessed accounts were at least 50-60 years old before they were written, second hand. Not by
the original witnesses. The authenticity of a "true" account is questionable.

Its as if I wrote a factual eye witness account about WWII from the stories told to me by my father who
were told to him by his father..
