[MD] global warming scam?

hey marsha,
i guess you add heart by being true to it, by being honest.
and it seems that you are a pretty good example of this ideal in practice.

you know how people put up veneers - personae, especially at work, but also in school and at home...these masks we wear and that speak for us until we lose our own voice altogether...

you know a good friend of mine stood up for a young schoolkid on the train the other day. he was being verbally abused by the security guard for not having a current ticket. my friend, salty, listened for a while and then simply couldn't stay silent in good conscience. he told the guard to stop speaking to the kid in such a aggressive degrading manner. the guard moved over to salty and tried to bully him but salty just replied that he was going to report him. the guard then left him alone, and the kid.

i guess that what i am doing is sort of building my own moral strength up via you guys. i am reminding myself that the value of honesty and solidarity and compassion outweighs the value of obedience and fear. i am trying to make sure that i will have the courage to do the right thing by myself and everyone else....cos it takes courage to stand up.

I am not without compassion for those who are suffering.  And I am 
quite capable of falling deep into frustration and expressing 
anger.  Tell me what I can personally do to change the world?   How 
can I add heart?
