Yes, but ...
This brings us round to the meaning of experience in this very general sense.
Who or what experiences the pattern of values that make up the atomic
arrangements inside the crystals inside the rock ? The sub-atomic
particles in the atoms; the quarks in the sub-atomic particles ? The
gravity in the cosmos ?
We are using "experience" in a special Pirsigian sense (which I have
no problem with, just reminding).
