That's all."-Platt
Individualism is a term used to describe a moral, political, or social
outlook that stresses human independence and the importance of
individual self-reliance and liberty. Individualists promote the
exercise of individual goals and desires. They oppose most external
interference with an individual's choices - whether by society, the
state, or any other group or institution. Individualism is therefore
opposed to holism, collectivism, socialism, fascism, communism,
communalism, statism, totalitarianism, and communitarianism, which
stress that communal, community, group, societal, racial, or national
goals should take priority over individual goals. Individualism is also
opposed to the view that tradition, religion, or any other form of
external moral standard should be used to limit an individual's choice
of actions.
Individualism has a controversial relationship with egoism
(selfishness). While some individualists are egoists, they usually do
not argue that selfishness is inherently good. Rather, some argue that
individuals are not duty-bound to any socially-imposed morality and that
individuals should be free to choose to be selfish (or to choose any
other lifestyle) if they so desire.
Platt:
"Balance" my foot. The theme of the MOQ is "betterness," not balance.
Some things are better than others, a fact that cannot be denied without
contradiction.
The intellectual (individual) level is better than the social
(collective) level.
They are not balanced, i.e, of equal moral weight. If all was balanced,
there would be no evolution.
Humanitarianism is the expression of stupidity and cowardice.

Struggle is the father of all things. It is not by the principles of
humanity that man lives or is able to preserve himself above the animal
world, but solely by means of the most brutal struggle.

Success is the sole earthly judge of right and wrong.

The victor will never be asked if he told the truth.

Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to
fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.
-Adolf Hitler
Originally war was nothing but a struggle for pasture grounds. To-day
war is nothing but a struggle for the riches of nature. By virtue of an
inherent law, these riches belong to him who conquers them. The great
migrations set out from the East. With us begins the ebb, from West to
East. That's in accordance with the laws of nature. By means of the
struggle, the elites are continually renewed. The law of natural
selection justifies this incessant struggle, by allowing the survival of
the fittest. Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest
against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean
the systematic cultivation of human failure.
