Hi Arlo
OK, I can see your issues with this. Problem I have is that despite
the rhetoric we live in conformist and authoritarian societies.
We do not organise education & work on the basis of the needs and
wants of individuals, but rather based on command structures and
authoritarian dispensing of 'knowledge'. How do we create a society
that is more free and more based on personal development and
co-operation rather than command, money-bribery, and top
down setting of ends? Are we not failing to empower individuals
to have equal and co-operative forms of life? Individuals are weak
in our current societies not free. How can we address this without
discussing the value of individuals (as the product of certain forms
of society)? I still find it hard to see how you can do without such
language. Your thoughts?
