[MD] What is metaphysics to you?

Metaphysics for me represents the sum of the core assumptions we have 
about the world, and on a large scale color the social lenses we 
acquire as we become part of a culture. A metaphysical shift does not 
change the world, but it changes the questions we ask and what 
answers we see. Metaphysics is the figure sorting sand against the 
endless landscape, it is the hand that wields the analytic knife of Phaedrus.
