Greetings,

Once when my grandson was not yet two-years-old, we went out to the 
backyard to explore.  Hunter had wondered to the other side of the 
yard to investigate a stick.  He picked it up and with great pride 
turned to show it to me. Suddenly there was a loud noise somewhere in 
the neighborhood.  It was maybe an automobile backfire.  A look of 
absolute terror spread across his face, and I could sense the 
adrenaline shooting through his body.  He dropped the stick and with 
open arms started to run towards me. He ran as if a large black 
leopard was chasing him.  I scooped him up, held him tight and kissed 
his face from forehead to chin, ear to ear, until we both felt safe.

That was a moment I saved until now.
