What category of opposing views do you consider it safe and 
convenient enough to read?

Marsha,

I don't know what you are asking here. I read what I what to read. Often I
read things I disagree with in fact I seek out such things. I just do not,
as  rule borrow books, not from people not from institutions. I have a bad
track record of returning things. Even Blockbuster used to eat me alive in
late fees. I rejoice in their demise. Long live Netflix!
