Wasn't this Cain's answer to God. And wasn't it a lie to cover the fact that Cain had murdered his brother? And didn't he murder his brother over "money", basically? What's the moral of that story, Platt? Do you suppose Cain votes Republican? His brother was one of those liberal, blame-Eden-first types who deserved it?
