Hi Margaret,
I have to appologize for being a very bad story teller. You don't want to hear me try to tell a joke, either.
I think the point of the story is that there is a lot of egoism in all that humility business.(I am a rich sucessful man. Look how great I am, and even I'm saying I'm not worthy. Who is this beggar woman to say that she is not worthy? Only one as great as I can impress people by saying so.)
I wasn't sure if it was relevant. Your discussion made me think of the story, so I thought I' dshare it to see if it resonated with anyone else. I appologize again if it is irrelevant.
