Hi All,

As I said, I am split as well, but here is more than you ever wanted
to know about me. There is nothing about philosophy below, so you may
want to delete now...
I'm about to turn 36. I have a daughter who is about to turn three. I
am unmarried but I have a girlfriend I've been seeing for about a
year and a half.
I have been a high school math teacher since I graduated from Penn
State University in 1994. I have a Master's degree from Villanova
University in statistics. I live and teach in a suburban community
near Philadelphia. My job is not my life. Teaching is often rewarding
because I get to teach some great kids. I also appreciate that
teaching gives me time to pursue other interests since I don't work
in the summer and my hours aren't long during the school year.
I have been married and divorced twice. The first marriage was brief.
I married the girl I dated through college soon after graduating. I
started dating the woman who would become my second wife (married in
2000) soon after my first wife and I split up. My second marriage
ended about 4 years ago. My daughter is the product a relationship
following my second marriage that has since ended.
I met my girlfriend through Match.com online dating service.
I am very involved with my daughter's life and see her almost every
day. I would love to have more kids.
My hobbies include bonsai, video and board games, playing guitar and
singing, brewing and drinking beer, reading comic books, kayaking,
and discussing the MOQ at moq.org. I'd rather talk about any of these
things than my job. I need to work on making my work more interesting
to myself.
Politically I generally prefer Democratic candidates. Liberals tend
to think I'm conservative and vice versa. I don't think that makes me
a wishy-washy moderate. I think it just means that one-dimensional
left/right thinking doesn't describe me well (nor I would think
should it describe anyone with an understanding of the MOQ.)
