Can you explain, with examples, the difference between intellectual 
level rhetoric and tactics and social level rhetoric and tactics? I 
hope it's not simply a matter of one's political views. Thanks.

I thought we agreed that using the rhetoric of "fear" is a 
social-level rhetorical device. In that thread I gave examples that 
crossed "party lines" of how politicians of all ilk attempt to 
leverage fear in order to garner power.
