Excessive national debt can lead to destructive inflation and the rise
of a dictatorship, or defensive weakness encouraging invasion.

"Intellect alone won't solve all our potential problems . . ." Words of 
wisdom. "Nationalistic blindness" or "national defense" are debatable 
viewpoints.
