Hi Marsha,

No and no. But, we do place faith in our senses for bringing us true
representations of reality, a faith shown at times to be misplaced.
Reminds me of that old joke when a wife finds her husband in bed with
another woman and the husband protests, "Are you going to believe me or
your lying eyes."
